History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Baern was taken on many hunting expeditions. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
