History: Born in the west to a Animal Trainer, Qualen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Animal Trainer. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Pallabar hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Pallabar was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
