History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Heian has worked very hard to control his curse. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Interpreter, Ildrex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He became a Interpreter soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
