Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Thervan has worked very hard to control his curse. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Gnome, and stands approximately 3'6". He wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and his gloved hand is found clutching a nunchaku. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pallabar embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This eastern man wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is auburn and curly. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nim is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. Nim abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is wearing a tight pastel one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His red hair is cut short. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is a great chef.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Detective for hire.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
