Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Half-Orc, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He wears a brown shirt with thin grey vertical stripes and violet pants, marred by chocolates. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are likewise gray. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Ulfgar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: A plain young-adult man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He wears a deerstalker hat to hide his balding. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep gray.

Personality: Adam hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adam grew up listening to his mother's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has worked as a Layabout like his mother before him.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. Five enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
