History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Karg was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He got into the Slave Trader business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Being a Dilettante kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs.
