He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Rael speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

History: Fenriz was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Berrian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. One day when Berrian was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Berrian was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. He now owns his own business.
