History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
