History: He was raised in a island tribe. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Abad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Being a Healer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
