Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thorpe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and someone believes him a fraud

History: Olunt was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Conrad was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barkeep work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barkeep work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
