Personality: Astar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Astar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
