Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He tends to his Sellsword job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

History: The child of a Blacksmith, who enjoyed hunting, Burto was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Yurk fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
