History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His ears are large.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Manfred was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Manfred was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Manfred's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sailor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
