Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cloud fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. He has styled his white hair well, parting it to the right. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Warryn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is dressed in earthy colors with a violet and brown handkerchief worn on his left side. He wears a Stetson hat to cover his moderate length auburn hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he wants revenge against illithids
