History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Qualen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
