History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a fancy yellow suit. His rusty crest is lengthy. His gold eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Valorean took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Azaki never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Percival enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Percival grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Percival. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ur-Lisak was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Hunter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a deep hatred of illithids
