He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sailor and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Marshal, but he got bored and became a Painter. He has worked as a Painter like his father before him.
