Description: This malnourished man wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a fancy grey suit. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Erias is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Erias lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and doesn't want to be a body guard and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Oppleby enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He keeps his gold crest in a pixie cut. His red unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Baradad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Description: He wears dull black sweaters, loose pastel pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed pickaxe, just in case. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is short and white. His ears are large.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Skoth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
