He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Joser took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Painter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Leucis was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Painter. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He got into the Slave Trader business at a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has worked as a Slave Trader like his father before him.

History: Born in the south to a Doctor, Shedinn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Shedinn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.
