Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of a Armorer, who enjoyed hunting, Fulbar was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Balimaar was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mercenary. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Balimaar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
