History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a grey suit, brown shirt, and green tie. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Fax hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.
