History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nelkin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Skirt and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This northern man wears baggy black pantaloons and a brown scarf. His clothes are grease stained in places. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he's repulsed by the pc

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Ahvain will drive conversation. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
