History: Simon hails from a village terrorized by drow. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Cleric, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Bernard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Dadalan began to lead the lost caravan. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
