The war was a terrible time for him, and Frederick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Baker father left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Mantus was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mantus decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Butcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Wizard school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
