Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born in the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Beiro's homeland. Beiro decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
