During his travels, Ratlûg and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Ratlûg discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Ratlûg fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Pelaios was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.
