Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature trident.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Balam was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Stableman, but he got bored and became a Servant. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
