History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
