History: Naill was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Veit was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Courier, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to unite with his sister

History: Scrag was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Locksmith and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he desires power and/or immortality
