History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Mordai was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bricklayer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gimgen's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gimgen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shoemaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
