Description: This man stands a little under 6'3" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears dull black sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed morningstar, just in case. His brass crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his red eyes.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the west. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arnold is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. A freak accident while working with his Herbalist mother left him crippled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: He is a Soapmaker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear brown pants and tee shirts, and is pretty ugly. He has dyed his greying gold crest a little too much giving a sharp gold color. His red eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to pay off his debts
