His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nelkin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Alston never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: He got into the Map Maker business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and revenge
