History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of drow

History: Born in the south to a Armorer, Shifting learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. He struck the Armorer job and began his own company from there.
