Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jocelyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jocelyn. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a scribe again

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nim isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Nim has worked very hard to control his curse. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
