History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A freak accident while working with his Ruler father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
