He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He found a children's book about a Elf Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents enrolled him in a Warrior school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
