History: He was born into a rich family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He wears a broad hat to hide his balding. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He found a children's book about a Gnome Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Barkeep kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts
