History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Personality: Burgell speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
