Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bellfounder. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Scribe they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born into a rich family. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and an old rival family wants him found
