History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Shepherd, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Mercenary, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Rûkdûg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: He is fixated on the number 56. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his feathered grey hat.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Erevan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
