History: Gifted from a young age, Emerald studied abroad. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Emerald took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up falchion and armor he uses now. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Gifted from a young age, Carrie studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
