History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

History: Born to a Engraver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: He was born in a small plains village. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.
