History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Alvyn was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Alvyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
