History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up work as a Scribe and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Ur-Edin was born with his father's beautiful face. Through the years after Ur-Edin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ur-Edin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ur-Edin and his spouse have recently divorced.
