History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barber. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. The war was a terrible time for him, and Balam does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Tanner, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Barber for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Tanner again; and sabotage a competitor
