History: Born in the south to a Marshal, Gimgen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.
