History: Kaladan was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and doesn't want to be a butcher and was forced into it by his family
