He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He uses divination through singing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he desires power and/or immortality

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.
