History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Ruler arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Zed learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Shoemaker, but he got bored and became a Carter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A middle-aged man, he is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and is pretty ugly. He has a very tight haircut. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Thorin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Thorin was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: He wears a grey coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He is wearing a long, black, dusty cloak. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
