History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his father's many stories. Burto liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Courier, his mother struggled to pay the bills. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears just a green suit. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. A friendly and beautiful Gnome, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and sabotage a competitor
